Rental & Cancellation Terms

Your payment schedule

Your checkout summary shows the rental total, amount due now, remaining rental balance, separate security deposit and exact collection date in Miami time. The $100 Date Lock is credited only toward rent. By paying, you authorize saving your card and automatic collection of the remaining rent and separate refundable security deposit 24 hours before pickup. Short-notice bookings use the payment schedule explicitly displayed at checkout instead.

Cancellation

Cancellation received at least 48 hours before pickup receives a full rental refund, including the $100 Date Lock. More than 24 but less than 48 hours before pickup, only the $100 Date Lock is retained and any other rental payment is refunded. At or within 24 hours before pickup, or for a no-show, rental payments are non-refundable. Cancellation before the 24-hour cutoff stops scheduled balance and deposit collection. Exact cutoffs are shown with your checkout.

Separate refundable security deposit

The deposit is a captured payment, not a card hold, rental revenue or cancellation penalty. Documented deductions may apply under your rental agreement. After a clear return inspection, Ark initiates the refund within 24 hours; your bank's posting time is separate. Unresolved issues may require holding the deposit pending evidence, repair invoices and determination of deductions.

If Ark cannot fulfill your rental

If Ark denies eligibility or cannot fulfill the rental, all rental payments, including the Date Lock, are refunded. Any captured security deposit is accounted for and refunded separately.

Payment does not confirm insurance approval or authorize vehicle release. Driver documents and staff clearance remain required. The vehicle-specific rental agreement contains the full vehicle-use, insurance, mileage, damage and other rental conditions.
